Unveiled Lake County Art Contest
September 2, 2019 - September 27, 2019
The City of Mentor’s Community Arts Commission wishes to express its appreciation and encouragement in the visual arts by providing an annual showcase for artists’ works where they may gain recognition. The Lake County Art Show has grown into a well-recognized show with locally known and emerging artists participating. This art contest accepts a variety of media including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Monetary awards will be given for first through third place in each category and the Dorothy McNamara Maloney Best of Show Award. All awards will be made at the discretion of the judge and are final. One piece of artwork per artist may be submitted to be juried for an entry fee of $5 per artist. To receive an entry form, please call Wildwood Cultural Center at 440-974-5735. The contest is sponsored by the Mentor Community Arts Commission and the family of Dorothy McNamara Maloney. Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
